Developer with focus on Embedded Software / Smart Device / IoT (m/f/d)

We are looking for a software developer with a focus on embedded development who would like to work with us to further develop existing products and create innovations in the areas of smart devices and IoT. This key position reports directly to the software project manager and will provide strong support for our strategic innovative vision.

 

Your tasks:

  • You will independently develop embedded software / firmware for existing products and as part of product innovations, always keeping an eye on the transition to the corresponding app (iOS, Android).
  • You usually work with ARM systems using C and C++ or on an embedded Linux basis
  • You create simple tools using Python, mostly for Windows systems
  • They integrate products with Bluetooth, BLE, sensors or Wifi connectivity
  • In addition, you coordinate with external service providers on API and interfaces as well as all electronics and firmware-related topics
  • Last but not least: We place the development of core competencies in the field of electronic engineering, such as the transition to computer-controlled microcontrollers, in your hands

Our requirements:

  • You have completed your studies in an IT environment, completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or acquired a comparable qualification
  • You bring outstanding knowledge of the requirements of embedded hardware and profound experience in development in the embedded environment, especially with ARM systems and embedded Linux
  • Several years of solid C and C++ knowledge are part of your tools of the trade

Your tasks:

  • You will look after our Steiner Connect app on Android and IOS and continue to develop it in cooperation with our external development service provider
  • You pay particular attention to the development quality, because we want to inspire our customers with the best, most robust and smartest apps
  • You integrate new products with connectivity (Bluetooth, Wifi) into Steiner Connect
  • You will work closely with the project teams responsible for firmware development and agree on API specifications in particular

Our requirements:

  • You have completed your studies in the IT/computer science environment, completed training as an IT specialist or acquired a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in Android and iOS development, including the use of platform-specific APIs

Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a flexible and versatile marketing personality to take care of both inbound and outbound hunting, marine and adventure activities. Your tasks will include creating and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns as well as planning PR events. You also ensure that all marketing materials correspond to our brand identity and that the target group-relevant content is created. To be successful in this role, you should be able to translate creative ideas into effective communication projects. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a variety of online and offline marketing channels.

Your tasks:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to spread the word about our business and generate qualified traffic
